Register a private educational institution

Register a new nursery, primary or secondary school. Sagamu LGA reviews the application and files it with OGSERA on your behalf. Approved schools appear in our public directory.

You can use this service if:

  • you are a business operating in Sagamu
  • proprietor's id
  • certified building plan
  • teacher qualification list
  • proposed curriculum
  • site inspection report (can be arranged after submission)

It costs ₦45,000. From ₦45,000 for nursery/primary, ₦75,000 for secondary. This is a renewed every year service.

You'll need to sign in to your Sagamu LGA account to apply. If you don't have one, you can create one using your NIN (for individuals) or CAC number (for businesses).

What you get

At the end, you will receive your school approval certificate and listing in the sagamu schools directory.

How to apply

  1. Sign in to your Sagamu LGA account.
  2. Fill in the online form with your details.
  3. Check your answers and submit.
  4. Pay the fee of ₦45,000 online.
  5. An LGA officer will review your application and issue your school approval certificate — usually within 5 working days.

After you apply

You can check the status of your application at any time from your account. We'll also send you an email update when the status changes.
